Nozipho completed here LLB Degree at the University of the Western Cape in 2005 and joined a small firm in Pretoria where she served and completed her articles of clerkship on 1 February 2007.
Nozipho was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 13 August 2007 and has since gained 15 years insurance experience having worked for two of South Africa’s top insurance companies in various legal and compliance roles, with the last role as Legal & Compliance Executive of one of South Africa’s top insurance companies.

Advising and providing training to financial service providers on regulatory and compliance issues within the Financial Sector Regulations sector (namely FAIS Act, FSR Act, the Insurance Act and other related pieces of legislation i.e. POPI Act and FIC Act).
Providing general legal and compliance support to 3rd party Administrators, their respective Affinity groups, and funeral services providers.
Draft and review of distribution agreements, relationship agreements, service level agreements, intermediary, outsourcing and binder agreements.
Drafting and reviewing client facing documents in line with the requirements of the Policyholder Protection Rules (Long-term Insurance), 2017.
Managing and dealing with Long-term Ombudsman and FAIS Ombud complaints.
Provide guidance in the interpretation of legislation and impact thereof.
Providing compliance support to ensure compliance and good governance.
Advising and assisting with litigation matters in the Magistrates’ Courts, High Court and Arbitration & Mediation processes.
